A Tigers Tale

BTN008 | 2017-07-10
Niederklang makes his presentation for the first time on BtechNoir. This Young Spanish producer delights us with this Ep where he provides his particular dark and deep Techno style.

Starting the EP with "I Win", could not be better choice. At the beginning a typical techno kick and a pad that also makes a melody in the background, later on mixed with what will be the main melody. The melody is in a constant presence on the track without becoming monotone. Strong presence of claps and hihats that become rolls leaving a very melodic break but without losing the techno style that BTechNoir has us accustomed. But it is after the second break that one realizes how powerful this excellent release is. This first track makes it impossible not to listen to what follows.

In second place "Kosher", catches you from the first second with a very contagious keyboard melodic loop and when one wishes never to finish, the track enters a small tech house and dark deep break giving a little breather to the loop but only to take upswing and to start again with more force and make you dance without stopping. The second pause that has the track is where you can see all the qualities of Nieder Klang as a producer. Techno lovers can not miss this gem.

We are averaging the end of the EP and we find "Tiger's Tale", track totally different from the previous two, 100% for connoisseurs and lovers of good Techno and Tech-house. Powerful, with a lot of energy and climatic, something very difficult to achieve in this style of music and Nieder does it with perfection. As for the melody of the track, it is simple and good, twice as good in this case is demonstrated. Not many notes and a filter make a successful melody. Something to highlight is the percussion that is in each one of the breaks of the track, a magnificent piece of production.

We arrive at the end of this excellent EP and "You Lose" is the perfect resume of three previous tracks, but without losing its own identity. A good techno kick, filters and reverse, strong claps with presence in each of the breaks, a melody works also as a pad and It enters in a constant loop. Hihats appear at the right time and are combined with the claps turning into a unique sound that from time to time makes the melody lose the importance of being in the backgroud. A great song for a fantastic EP.
