Music has always been a constant presence in Dana Weaver’s life. At age four, Dana began training as a classical pianist, completing her last two years of studies at Johns Hopkins Peabody Preparatory.
Dana is not only a gifted pianist, but also a vocalist, arranger, songwriter and composer. Her voice has been described as “powerful and soothing.nothing like I’ve heard before”.
In 2006, Dana performed with the late Vesta Williams. She has also opened up for songstress, Chrisette Michele. Her experience, talent and love for music has enabled her to work with numerous producers and notable independent labels.
In 2015, ‘My Freedom’ with Souldynamic and ‘Fading Away’ with Neal Conway, both reached and held the #1 position on the Traxsource Soulful House chart. Additionally, both songs made the Traxsource Best of 2015 list.
