And now for something complete different!

VIER could't resist taking on this new project, even if it's very different from our releases so far! But then again, it's important to seek out new grounds and explore other styles within house - no house territory.

We are not quite sure how to label this project, other than we feel it explores the outer rims of deep house.

It's for certain a clear reference to Asia and Japanese poetry, as the legendary and much beloved poet, Basho, is quoted in the songs. Basho's Haiku's is presented at the right moment in the various soundscapes. Every track is unique in it's own way.

'The Basho walk,' yet simple, has a drive, a stomping feel, almost funky in an odd way.

The track 'Rest now' takes yo straight to a Japan 'state of mind' as the musical elements is more authentic. More complex than 'The Basho walk,' with spacious keys and dubbed out elements.

Last track in this package is 'So simple.' It follows the same formula as 'Rest now,' but incorporates a hounting synthline that has such nerve and feel to it! The housy keys makes the drive in the song great, and with all the strange sounds hitting you unexpectedly from all directions, it takes you on a journey.
