Having already released a steady handful of records on the likes of Defected, Zoo Music, This Ain’t Bristol and most recently Nothing Else Matters/Ministry of Sound; Bristolian low-end theorist GotSome makes his debut EP on Love & Other with his bass and percussion laden UK club sound.
The EP opens up with ‘Mystify’, a bumpy, bongo-flavoured UK House cut that’s loaded with rolling snares, raw bass stabs and a spoken word vocal intersect, staying true to the homeland. For the B-side the aptly titled ‘Iron & Concrete’ projects a high-energy funnel of sound with it’s jackin’ drums, fierce low end and complimentary vocal refrain.
