Making a Step away from his most regular home of Moon Harbour, Sven Tasnadi now links with David Jach for a new EP on Supernova’s always on form Lapsus Music label that comes complete with two remixes from Tucci.

Liepzig’s Tasnadi has a deep tech and house sound that is about hypnotic grooves and nice atmospheres and Dresden man Jach is equally accomplished with a great discography that takes in labels like Cometomusic and Keno Records. Together they cook up some real heat.

Up first, Panic is a party stating house cut with slapping snares, grainy hi hats and nice bass bobbles. Some vocal sounds really add fuel to the fire and it's not hard to see this one sending floors wild. Crazy Talk is next and is a more stripped back cut that has whirring machine sounds, knotted FM bass stabs and more foreign language vocals adding a human element to the machine funk all around. Reckless is the final original and is seven deep, smooth minutes of locked in tech house with splashing hits and underpinned by turbocharged bass. It is freaky and funky and hella fun.

In Tucci’s hands it becomes a more zoned out and serene track with widescreen and soulful synths spreading out from the core, then he tackles the Reckless tune and reworks it into a macho house banger with loopy, low slung bass and four to the floor kicks that will power any floor into the night.

This is a fresh EP full of essential house grooves.
