After long anticipation, Inspected Music's debut release is here delivering a funky compilation including remixes from Husky and Joe Pompeo. Early Feedback Sonny Fodera (Amenti, Drop Music, Salted Music) - Nice ep! really soulful funky grooves, Love the b lines, vocals and guitar, good work!! Joshua Heath (Golden State Recordings, Salted Music) - first departure sounds solid. all well produced, clean, original stuff. funky and deep vibes throughout. Joe's & Huskys dub will do well in my deeper sets, like the original 'reach out' as well. Yogi (random soul recordings) - the original of 'reach out' is the one for me, straight up... Dave Allison (Kinjo Music) - Serious jazzy flava out the gate for Inspected Music ! Diggin' the H.I. original of Reach out most on this package. Great sound, warm chords , thick bass, and punchy drops! Husky's dub also will do me well in the mix. Erik Bo (Funk Mansion) - it s a nice deep ep, quality music there. My fav is "The House Inspectors - Reach Out feat Adaja Black" Manjane (Disko Zoo) - Candy Love & Reach out are doing it for me! Love your stuff, original and groovy, cant wait to drop these! JMC - Killer record! Room in my sets for every cut on the EP. Particularly feeling the Joe Pompeo remix of 'Candy Love' and the original mix of 'Reach Out'. 9/10 Byron Foxx - There is a reason why The House Inspectors are hot property and the first offering of their label Insepcted Music is a perfect example of why. The combination of beautiful funky b-lines with sexy vocals and horns as their signature is in full force on this EP. Let's start with Candy Love. It's the perfect tune for all manner of club DJs. It has the Jamiroquai-esq broad appeal all the while staying solidly within the house genre that enables it to fit snugly into an underground house set. Adaja Black on the vocals in Reach Out gives the EP a nice subtle change of pace. This is the perfect afternoon Miami pool party song and will be sure to get those bikini clad babes wiggling their thing. The remixes round off the EP nicely, all quality reconstructions from Joe Pompeo and Husky - of which we have come to expect nothing less. This EP is a must for all DJs.
