Hailing from Leeds, UK DJ and producer Philtr3 returns to Abstract Space Records for its 125th release which is actually his first release in 2017. His most awaited EP on our roster is titled ‘Resonate’ along with unique remixes from returning abstract artists Dr. Avalance and legendary Following Light. Philtr3 is a driven, passionate and charismatic artist with a unique approach to his blend of tech-house and progressive and this EP is another gem of his top-notch quality vibes. His last effort here was back in 2016 with Submerged EP which gained great support across the globe. His sound is all about organic texture, dense sonic landscapes, and forward-thinking arrangement.
The original Resonate initially rolls out with an amazing pumped up kick groove along with some classic authentic hihats and percussions setting up a perfect mood for the dancefloor. You will be ragged on as the main bassline approaches and uplifts the whole track up. Lush pads dissolves in to the bass stabs and recursive pluck loop which sets the basics of the main melody penetrating your soul at various levels. The breakdown makes room for the main melody to come forward gradually and pumps it up for its true endgame. A perfect killer for dancefloor sets.
For the first remix, we have returning artist Dr. Avalance from Spain who is a regular remixer on our label. Here he blows hard one hell of a charismatic cymatics full of dynamic punchy drum set along with some cool pluck basses. A magnitude full of deeper and darker bassline mingles into the track and produces an all-time hit. This one not to be missed for sure.
The final remix comes from our very own Following Light who has been with us since 2014. Ingenious vintage synth and dark bass along with the dark lushy pads surely fills the air with a distinctive aura. The drum set along with a pluck stab makes it more wondrous for any radio set. The breakdown introduces one brilliant synths that takes you to another dimension of the reality which ultimately joins the main grove again making it a perfect weapon.
