British singer-songwriter Juliette Ashby’s music is a potent synthesis of R&B, Reggae and neo-Soul. Her captivating voice enveloped with soothing harmonies draws on her heartaches and real life experiences with self-penned, commanding, poignant lyrics.
In 2015 Juliette released two very different albums. Urban influenced 'OVER + OVER'
which featured many industry juggernauts including Da Brat, Mike Kalombo (SoSo Def),
Graham Marsh (Cee-Lo), Wayne Beckford, Blac Elvis (Beyoncé, Usher),
Alan Glass (Aretha Franklin, George Benson, Earth Wind and Fire), Hardwork & Mavelle (Damian Marley & Sean Paul).
And 'Bitter Sweet' - an acoustic album - a collection of heartfelt songs written by her over six years and dedicated to her lifelong best friend Amy Winehouse .
June 2016 saw the release of Juliette's anticipated third album 'BUILD UP THE STRONG', a full album dedicated to her first love Reggae music. You'll be hearing the sweet tones and heart felt lyrics of Juliette and some special features including the likes of Reggae legend MAXI PRIEST ,Neville Staple ( The Specials ), producers Mike Bennett ( The Smiths/The Fall ), JAZZWAD ( Damien Marley & SeanPaul) and produced and mixed by ALAN GLASS ( Earth Wind & Fire, Aretha Franklin).
In July Juliette made a very important decision in assisting the directors with facts and events
for the OSCAR and BAFTA award winning documentary 'AMY'.
Juliette also appeared as a prominent role in the film, which was released in cinemas worldwide
and is now the biggest selling British documentary of all time.
Juliette describes the experience as one of the most traumatic and challenging experiences of her life.
BBCRADIO2 and BBC6MUSIC - CRAIG CHARLES FUNK AND SOUL SHOW have been a
constant support of Juliette's music, inviting her to perform at many
live lounges and playlisting her material.
Juliette has wowed crowds at renown world music festivals including her three stage performances at the Isle of Wight Festival and SXSW in Austin, Texas where she gave a knock-out performance at Perez Hilton's One Night In Austin Party and was personally handpicked to perform for Russell Simmons and Steve Rifkind’s label launch ADD52.
Popular demand secured Juliette a licensing deal with VH1 to feature her music on prime-time American TV shows Mob Wives, Single Ladies and Basketball Wives, as well as garnering support for her music and interviews with BBC Radio,
