The good architecture of "Convergent" opens the EP with a slow but strong climax; hypnotic rhythms and ambient sounds create an elegant atmosphere, surrounded by a resonant voice.
"Divergent" shows a deeper concept of techno: the emotional melody keeps the track into a new landscape, merging with a heavy basslines.
Mike Storm is a familiar name to the label. His remix reshapes the original track "Convergent" and takes us into an interstellar trip through the cosmos. The atmosphere is intense.
Re:Axis version of "Divergent" is a high-energy piece and it's definitely the powerful techno punch of this EP. Classic drum sounds combine with vibrating kicks and some loopy cuts.
SPR007 is an ecstasy for ears and a proper bang for dancefloors.
