CAUCASIAN BOY is back and Force Of One is the harbinger; a tough, uncompromising acid house track that celebrates the enduring power of the Roland 303 and the return of a key figure in UK house music.

Crispin J. Glover’s Caucasian Boy project burst on to the UK house scene in the mid 90s with Northern Lights, a melodic deep house excursion that soon found its way on to the legendary Strictly Rhythm. Such was the success of Northern Lights that Glover went on to be one of a very select number of UK producers to record more than two releases with the New York label. Two more acid bangers, Electric Mistress and Kashmir followed the theme, while Goin’ Clear, Hotrox and Jelly Belly forged a deeper house sound.

Lifted by the exposure of the Caucasian Boy releases, Glover expanded his reach with production monikers such as Crime, Motif and, of course, Crispin J Glover. Releases on noted labels Paper Recordings, Junior Boy’s Own and Nuphonic cemented his status as a prime mover in the development of underground UK house as it shifted into deep and nu-disco flavours.

Force Of One precedes the release of the encompassing retrospective long player simply titled Caucasian Boy.
