The Bearded Man used to have this recurring dream — he’d be Mega Man in Mega Man X, and he’d get all the way to the boss level. The boss was this weird marshmallow man, kind of like the Stay Puft guy from the original Ghostbusters. Except this marshmallow, unlike Kirby, was pissed. Just as The Bearded Man arrived at the boss, the mallow-man would puff out his fat cheeks, and he’d start blubbering out marshmallow projectiles in what sounded *exactly* like the bassline from this song. Of course, that dream is over two decades old, but when he heard this new track from Bender, he said: “YES! That’s it! That’s the exact sound I heard from that marshmallow guy!” Needless to say, Bender was confused and more than a little disappointed.
