Here at Phunky Rabbit Records we always try to help new producers get recognition in the music world. I would like to introduce you all to a new young producer from Durban, South Africa. As you all know I am a massive fan of the South African Deep House scene and here Soulmate (aka Mvelo Hlongwane) has produced a really cool deep vibe. Palesa (aka Nqobile Thandolwethu Qwabe) delivers a very raw but direct and very soulful vocal.

My remixers were queuing up to work on these vocals so there are many various mixes included in the package so there should be something there to suit all tastes. I also did a remix in a deep style under my Placidic Dream Guise. Rampus provides a solid Disco House vibe. Lucius Lowe makes his debut on the label with a quality Soulful House mix. Myk Dubz gives us 2 remixes, the main one being a solid house vibe then another which i think he has created a new sub genre of Avantgarde House with a late night live experimental take. Another newcomer to the label but a guy I have known a long time now on the House circuit, Jay Cosgrove, provides his Chug Soul Brother Remix which will work well in the clubs. Finally Soulmate produces a chilled out Sunset Reprise just to finish the proceedings in a cool late night vibe.
