The Bearded Man once was deep in love with someone who suffered from short term memory loss. This was, of course, YEARS before Finding Dory, and he’ll always secretly suspect that he inspired the tale, but that’s the subject of another rant. In any case, a lot of people just see the downsides of short term memory loss. It’s tragic to think that a loved one won’t remember you from moment to moment. The Bearded Man really liked this gorgeous girl, but she would never remember him no matter what he did or said. He watched The Notebook, then he had a brilliant idea. He just kept telling this girl that they were already in love, and that they had been for years, and he kept telling her to remember when they were in love. None of it was true, but he figured, “She’ll never know the difference anyways!” And he was absolutely right. It worked like a charm. Remember young players, creativity and thinking outside the box are key.
