FEEDBACKS:
-Richard Earnshaw (UK)-Again, some really nice bits on here……will certainly give these some airplay on our show!

-Steve Parr (FaizeMusic.com)-These tracks are wicked, a very good album indeed... Brilliant stuff...! :)

-Franco Martinelli (Housepage.net)-Nice House LP with a warm funky vibe and a cool jazzy touch.

-Melchyor A-All my support for these LP, so funky, groovy, really like it. My favourites songs are BRING IT ALL DOWN and GROOVE DELUXE.

-Tony H (RMC2)-Very very very good work...I'll play every track in my radio show DINNER IN IBIZA.

-DA FUZZ (Deep Touch / Filtered / Soulgroove / GKF)-Gooood! At first, I love the cover! About music: I appreciate the unity and the style of this project. For me, the best tracks are: “Groove deluxe”, “Sandwich” and the killing jazzy-funk: “Funky afternoon”. Good funky basslines and groovy rythmics during the entire album. Perfect for a before party.I imagine this album in a cool bar before a dj set. It’ll be so cool.

Who is Moog :
Brussels based Dj Moog has always been in music and has always been into Funk. 20 years ago, he started to created his own tracks with just a synthesizer and a drum machine. He was very productive for 5 years but didn't reach the quality level he expected. Progressively he was more and more involve in deejaying and as he opened a bar/club in Brussels (Le Tambour), the musical instruments were replaced by 2 MK2 and a Mixing Table. For 10 years, dejaying was his way of creating music, with his unique style, mixing acid jazz, classic funk, trip hop and groovy house. He was playing mainly in Brussels but made some remembered appearence in Amsterdam and New-York. In 2002, while he was staying in Thailand (he is also a scuba diver instructor, the other passion in his life), he has discovered a software called Reason. Exactly the tools he was waiting for more than 10 years. Immediatly, he started to create like crazy and in a couple of week, 10 tracks were ready. Since then, he has produce loads of tracks which reflect his ability of blending classic funk, latin and ethnic percussion and groovy house beats.

GKF) Why are you called Dj Moog?:
MOOG) When I started as a dj, I pick up this name because i loved the sound of the Moog synthesizer. It has this psychedelic sound that is really appealing to me. Now that I am producing music, I have kept the name because the way I create music is very similar to Dj work. Djs are trying to create atmosphere by mixing tracks together, I'm creating tracks by mixing sampling together. This is similar approach so I make perfect sense to me to be called Dj.

GKF) How can you describe your music?:
MOOG) My music is Funk. I am a huge fan of Classic Funk and Jazz-Funk from the seventies (like James Brown, Georges Clinton, Herbie Hancock and all the guys at Blue Notes records, just to name a few) and I want my music to sound like Classic Funk from the 21th century. I use very often Wah Guitars, Funky Basslines and even sometimes Horns to give that feeling. My music is House. I am also a big fan of electronic music (i started with Telex, a belgian electronic band from the heighties) and specially House music (which came from Disco and Disco came from Funk). That's why i am using House beats and rhythm. My music is Percussion. I just love percussions, specially in an House track. It gives a positive and warm feeling and it's the best thing to make people dance. My music is not designed for dancefloors but surely has enough groove to make your body move.

GKF) Why is your album called “Funky Side of the Moon”?:
MOOG) I found this name a perfect summary of my music. Welcome to my Deep Space Funk!
