Leon's career in music begun in the early`80s when he started DJing at several clubs & pubs in Athens. At the same time he discovered another passion in his life. He studied film direction at The Academy of Cinema Of Athens. As he always says: “Music is like a film. It’s a sequence of sounds that gives the illusion of continues movement. The DJ is the “film director” controlling the content and flow of the music plot.”. In the early `90s, after an invitation from a friend, Leon took the position of producer in a German Studio. Producing was always a lifetime dream that came true. In 1991 he started working as producer for AMS, a company with 3 Studios and 7 Radio Stations. He had a wide variety of music productions for advertising, radio jingles and generally everything that has to do with sound. However, his multi-talent has been discovered later on. In 1998 Leon decided to create his own company and a new DJ name to make his ideas reality. Based on his knowledge of many different styles of music, Leon is able to create the perfect music atmosphere for every different event, by creating emotions through music soundscapes. His philosophy is simple: Let the music charge your emotions. Soon he became one of the most requested persons in Germany for sound design in all major events. At the same time El Ray is moving to another favourite field exploring his talent on music production by creating many different kinds of music that lie on the same ground: quality, class and style. His collaborations with respected artists from around the world begun on the net and became the basis of a promising project. Currently, Leon is working on studio with Georg Neufeld from Switzerland and the Jazz singer Agi Gorgon.
George Neufeld is born in Switzerland in 1973. When he was 6 year old started to play piano and played his first piano solo concert in 1984. In 1982 started to play drums and his first synth, Roland D-50, in 1986. The young talent played his first gig like keyboarder with self-composed material in 1987. After 3 years he began to work in studio like keyboarder. Instead in successively 4 years he went around Europe in touring like a drummer of “Good God”. Finally comes his first residency like DJ in 1992 spinning Acid Jazz, Hip Hop and House. In 1993 he became resident DJ of Conrad Sohm in Austria and in 1994 he played Deep House at Futurscope II in Zurich (CH). His first gig in NY was in 2003 at C.B.G.B.’s. In 1995 Georg began his producer career, and after many experiences he released his first 12” in 2003, “Pushin EP” together Alessandro Crimi. In 2004 he does mixing engineer and remixer for Freda Avoris Goodlett and Katy Winter. In 2005 Georg does mixing engineer for Mephisto System. Actually he use a lot of synth, sequencer and audio programs to compose and edit his music.
Agnieszka Gorgon, was raised in Switzerland. At age seven, she decided to be forever a Michael Jackson fan. The fascination for the king of pop has shaped her love to the music until today. Little Agnieszka loved to sing since she was a kid and she was awarded a chocolate by her neighbours for hearing this little nightingale sing. At age 16 she started taking classical vocal lessons, taught by wonderful Adelheid Ganz, who believed in Agnieszka and would perfectly support her. Singing performances followed at serenades, during the lunch breaks of her pedagogic studies and she soon took part at open stage sessions. Agnieszka graduated in 2003 and founded her first soul band called Bombom where takes the lead. Since 2004 she sings for productions of pianist and soundengineer Georg Neufeld on a regular basis. Who I Truly Am is one of them.
