S&S Records, Inc. (and S&S Chicago, Inc.) was established by 4-time GRAMMY® nominated producer and House Music pioneer Steve "Silk" Hurley and global DJ/Producer Shannon "DJ Skip" Syas. Silk and Skip merged Hurley's worldwide commercial success and Syas' strong global following to form S&S Records. Two founding fathers of House music have come together with a next generation vocalist on this classic House track, “Just A Feelin’ (That I Get).” House Music Pioneers Marshall Jefferson and Steve Silk Hurley have come together for the first time since Marshall produced songs like “That’s The Way Love Is” for Ten City and Silk provided the remix. Now added to the mix is B. Lauren, who as the daughter of the 4-Time GRAMMY@ nominated music producer Steve “Silk” Hurley, has spent her life in the company of some of the industry’s most noted entertainers, and is a promising vocal talent in her own right.


Marshall Jefferson has been as instrumental in the development of Chicago house music since the 1980s...He has had a hand in everything from deep house to acid house to ghetto house. Steve “Silk” Hurley’s 4 GRAMMY® Nominations are just another testament to his longevity as a producer, and yet another confirmation that “Silk” is here to stay. In addition to being one of House Music’s Pioneers with “Music Is The Key” and “Jack Your Body,” (#1 on the U.K. National Chart for 2 weeks), Silk” has written, remixed and / or produced chart-topping gold and platinum songs for: Michael Jackson, Prince, Crystal Waters, Yolanda Adams, CeCePeniston, Boyz II Men, Janet Jackson, Mary J. Blige, Chaka Khan, Madonna, Inner City, Jennifer Lopez, Brandy, R. Kelly, Ann Nesby, Rahsaan Patterson, Donell Jones and Ten City. B. Lauren initially honed her talents as a lead vocalist in the church choir. At that
time, an opportunity to perform a duo along side Legendary Rap Artist Common
further inspired the then 13-year old to pursue her musical aspirations. From there
her writing skills emerged and an artist was born. B. Laurén is quickly establishing

herself in the world of R&B, Pop and Dance music, working with several GRAMMY® Nominated producers in addition to her dad. Penning and co-producing a single for up & coming artist René, she is steadily making herself known as a musical force to be reckoned with.
