It's time for another first, the next addition to the expanding Upon.You Records roster. Making his debut on our beloved label with his ''Order EP'' is the Italian producer Alessandro Magani, better known under his Flashmob moniker to all lovers of electronic music out there. Having released on labels like Get Physical Music, Flashmob Music Group, Defected and ESD Records throughout the past five years we're well thrilled by the musical offering the Italian talent makes here.
Starting the journey from the ''Inside'' we see Flashmob explore a rather dark and technoid sonic environment, bringing in mysterious echoes like the ones we'd find in endless tunnels and haunting hallways whilst heavily processed whispers and solemn, yet arcane motif adds up to the well tense atmosphere.
The next tune on this one is ''Melting'' which comes across as a hard pumping, precise and super polished Tech tool incorporating many micro elements from the Minimal Techno side of things before yearning, outlandish tones and unheard, alienating frequency sweeps reprogram our braincells and turn every dancefloor into a swarm of willingly obeying, assimilated entities, stomping and ant-milling away into a future uncertain.
Finally the ''Last To Come'' is bringing us another level of technoid madness, introducing a foundation of growling synths, microcut sample bits and sharp hi-hats coated with shimmering, outerworldly synth layers of of fluxional, yet Newtonian nature - fascinating, unfamiliar and inexplicable like strange physics or the dissolving shapes of a room fully coated in Vantablack fabric, providing nothing but everlasting blackness.
