Graveyard Shift EP

Ranacat

AMA Recordings
AMA028 | 2016-10-31
After releasing a superb EP from Serbian stalwart Marko Nasti? last month, Ray Okpara’s always
on point AMA Recordings is back at it again. The 28 th release on AMA comes from the London-
based Argentinian producer Ranacat and, complete with an Austen/Scott remix, it’s a doozy.
Originally from Rosario in Argentina, Ranacat made the move to London over 10 years ago and
has made quite the reputation for himself, with his love and passion for house music shining
through for all to see, via his sublime production and DJing. Now known for gracing labels like
Mobilee and Sneaky Music, the timing was perfect for Ranacat to step up and deliver the
accomplished ‘Graveyard Shift’ EP for AMA Recordings.
With a release on Joris Voorn’s Rejected label earlier in 2016, Austen/Scott are in high demand
right now. Taking on the title cut from Ranacat’s ‘Graveyard Shift’, the brotherly duo show
exactly why they’re held in such high regard in the scene - they’re the perfect candidates to put
their signature stamp all over this carefully curated remix.
This brand new release from Ray Okpara’s AMA Recordings is another to add to an already
bulging scrapbook - one that’s crammed full of quality house and techno material. With that
lineage in mind, Ranacat’s ‘Graveyard Shift’ EP does not disappoint.
