Krankbrother serve up two tasty new tracks for the tenth release on their own label. The London DJs/producers/promoters have been flexing their musical muscle since the labels inception last year, providing a platform for new artists like Joe Munday, The Organ Grinder and Jody Barr, serving up remixes from Prins Thomas, Mark E and A Sagittariun, and of course dropping some heavy weight productions of their own.

The crackles and dusty ambience that opens ‘Outré’ pave way to a deliciously deep and driving track; ethereal stabs and grandiose strings provide the sonic landscape for the melodious synth motifs and choppy vocal refrains, thick with emotive sound and Detroit techno sensibilities. ‘Zauna’, with its tribal rhythm and domineering bassline, provides a heady concoction of gritty drums, frenetic percussion, wandering synth riffs and hypnotizing vocal chants, cleverly sampled and arranged from he afrobeat sounds from Nigeria.
