YAYA Records is ran by four friends and felt like the natural progression for a successful club night called YAYA. Hailing from Norwich (UK) the four YAYA guys wanted to start a tech house/techno based label that released and championed the music that gives YAYA it's unique vibe and reputation.

And so to David Glass... 5 years ago, a fresh faced raver happened over a couple of djs playing at a club night in his home town of Liverpool, this was to be David’s first taste of authentic house music at its finest. An Easter Sunday at the legendary Circus Club with Yousef and Ricardo Villalobos in control was to change the life of a young David Glass perpetually. With releases on Circus, Robsoul, Witty Tunes, Midnight Music, Magnetic & Roush, this boy is causing a bit of a fuss. And with Carl Cox last year naming David as one to watch... well, thats never a bad thing is it?

Platinum is a gooved out swaggering mass of techiness that locks you in to its spell. Lacing itself with cool vocal samples as trippy fx and percussion meet the dominating bass, and its all ends up in to a bit of a melting pot of goodness to cause mayhem on the dance floor.

Apollo is a punchy gem, infectious and with an air of mystery about itself. A skippy percussion line lands while spaced out pads meet squelching synths that culminate in a real winner.

The sole remix comes from YAYA bosses and resident DJ's Dill & Curror who add a layer of spiciness here. Keeping the groove phat as you like and adding quirky analog vibes, cool use of the vocal and a hypnotic synth line.
