Club of Jacks are back once again with their trademark House and Garage flavour inspired by sounds from the likes of MAW, Strictly Rhythm, Nice n Ripe, Nervous, King Street, Tuff Jam and Swing City. This is another heavy weight package that finds the perfect blend of tough and soulful flavour. Skippy beats with a warm thump fuse with chopped up vinyl vocal samples and classic synth chords, all floating nicely on rich, analogue Moog bass. And this time they have collaborated with sax player Jake Telford to bring that infectious summer carnival vibe.

A Side: All That Shaking is a jazzy, deep and infectious house and garage groove topped off with sweet live sax. Deep analogue Moog bass underpins smokey beats and lush rhodes stabs and chords all peppered with chopped up vinyl acapella samples to give it that authentic flavour. AA Side: Don’t Hold Back is a thumping, tougher flip side to the EP. Another vinyl vocal sample reworked into a fresh hook over warm, fuzzy kicks and snares. Shades of Nice N Ripe and Kerri Chandler inspired chords drive the track while the heavy weight Moog bass rumbles nicely. Original head nodder and foot stomper.
