Electronic pop outfit Grapefruit Sound Lab delivers club-friendly reworks of the lead single from their 'Children Of Man' EP reflecting their rich club music roots. The driving, melancholic synth-pop original becomes cleverly recast into a euphoric sleazy disco anthem (courtesy of veteran producer/remixer and DJ Rich Morel), a percolating "minimal Detroit techno meets jackin' Chicago electro house" burner (by DJ/producer and Get Up! Recordings label founder W. Jeremy) and a sweltering "hard, dark and soul" house workout (by GSL) recalling classic era Danny Tenaglia and Junior Vasquez.
