Felix Cage starts the summer with his second EP on Franco-Belgian label Electronical Reeds. After the success of Blizzard in collaboration with Mezza Luna including remixes from Tokyo Black Star and Pole Folder, as well as his excellent remix of Cristian Viviano’s track I’m Not Alone, he returns with the Mascarade EP accompanied by two remixes from Rodriguez Jr and Nhar. With his bookings alongside with artists like Oliver Deutschmann, Oddvar, Rodriguez Jr and Koljah, he manages to reinforce and push further on his production skills.

With Mascarade, Felix Cage, as we know him, offers a melodic Deep Techno track with a powerful kick. Mascarade progressively unwinds its hypnotic universe to take possession of the surrounding space. This melodic aspect finds itself reinforced by chords and strings counterbalanced through a subtle rise and this destructive kick.

Rodriguez Jr., after remixes for Mobilee and releases on Systematic, offers his own vision on this track. He proposes a more danceable and literally house track. Even with the rhythmic base being slightly different, he has preserved the nap effects but passed through filters. Thus, Rodriguez Jr. offers a fresher and more dancefloor atmosphere.

Nhar preaches a more Deep approach of this track. The opening naps are rapidly enriched by a vivid and sharp kick. More Deep than instrumental, this remix is also more open and invites everyone to discover the festive world which surrounds us.
