Hailing from the SF Bay area by way of Dallas, Chakaharta / J.D. Northrup emerged on the scene in 2003 with a witty rump-shaker "Hit The Nuco" on vinyl trademark Fair Park recordings. In addition, he has several downtempo albums in the works for various imprints.
