The 'Mzansi House' series spans more than a decade and has consistently singled out South Africa's most promising dance music producers.

The last volume featured LadiAdiosoul, Dafro, Phalafala and Echo Deep; the latest lines up a fresh quartet of contemporary talent showcasing their own productions across a mixed disc each for another super - and superbly priced 4-CD pack.

Mfr Souls are Maero and Force Reloaded and hail from the East Rand in Gauteng. Their 'Back To Back' session pits skippity tribal drums against jazzy micro-melodies and occasional orchestral washes. Deep dancing (and listening) are guaranteed.

Ed-Ward helms the second disc, aptly titled 'The Wicked One'. He applies a bit more bass pressure in his particular brand of Afro-house, beefing up the forward drive with whip-snap snares and haunting keys.

TonicHD is joined by the fantastic singer Ree Morris for a large part of his excursion which is titled 'My Potentials'. Morris made a name for himself on the DJ Christos collaboration 'Inside Of Me' and has also worked with renowned French house head Rocco, and here his soulful voice aligns with some highly inventive production work. Vocal house doesn't come much better and the instrumental interludes are equally moving.

Finally, Ta-ice aka Maphuntshane Isaiah Sefara steps up for 'Elevations'. This 'sound designer' already has a slew of releases available on platforms like Traxsource, has the support of the likes of Nick Holder and has remixed Zulumafia, Kid Fonque, Deep Illusion and many more. He supplies a class blend of dreamy kasi house that's laced with hip-swinging chords.

The 'Mzansi House' series continues to prove that South Africa is still the go-to destination for quality deep house and this is another essential installment.
