The oh-so secretive and elusive Franc Spangler provides his first full EP for Delusions Of Grandeur having previously provided mixes for Alpha Child on DOG03 as well as for Jimpster on Freerange. On the label's eleventh release they offer up two variations of "Forever And A Day" with the original providing a full length arrangement loaded with deep pads, fizzing synth lines and Francʼs trademark disco-inspired drums. "Forever And A Dub" runs with a similar vibe whilst opting for a more stripped-back and rolling vibe. Still a very deep and musical track but with some space for the drums and squarewave bassline to work their magic. The arrangement subtly builds with layering synths providing the dynamics and interest. Flip over for "Open Eyes" which sees Franc drop the BPMʼs for a loping, looping, sun-soaked epic purpose built for vibe augmentation of your next BBQ gig.
