The future of deep house!Smooth Agent is proud to introduce another fine talent to the SA camp, Germany’s Imaani Brown with his Soul Cyper EP. Mr. Brown may be a newcomer to the house scene in 2010 but he has already released several ep’s on labels such as Brown Skin & Deep Nota. He has also scored a hit with his version of “Dis Poem” feat. Mutabuka. When Mr. Brown is not producing dance beats he does work as a choreographer and dancer for theatrical productions. He has worked as a dancer for Diesel, Stabilo, MTV Europe Music Awards in 1998, Tommy Boy, Africa Bambatta, viva & more.

On the Soul Cypher ep Imaani showcases his love for deep house, tech house & tribal rhythms. For Chocolate for my baby, Mr Brown lays down a smooth sexy driving groove that is rich with deepness and atmosphere. On Cool Cat Imaani shows his flair for a deep tech groove layered attitude and feeling. With the title track Soul Cypher the journey this time is tribal, deep and filled with soul. To round out the project we have 'The Essence which featues a fierce reletless groove, demanding movement on the dancefloor..
