For their 4th official release, Club of Jacks come again with their trademark classic house and garage flavour, inspired by sounds from the likes of MAW, Strictly Rhythm, Nice n Ripe, Nervous, King Street, Tuff Jam and Swing City, etc.
This two track EP blends skippy, thumping, jackin beats with warm lush synth pads all riding on heavy, rolling, analogue moog basslines.
Track 1, Hard To Let You Go, has an infectious, deep sub bass that evokes shades of classic drum and bass while all the while retaining a pure house and garage sound. Chopped up vinyl acapella samples give it that authentic flavour while the chords stabs keep it melodic, warm and bubbling.
Track 2, When I Need You, is a jazzier affair with classic organ sounds mixed with a bouncy analogue bassline to create an infectious, raw vibe reminiscent of early 90s UK Garage.
With this latest EP being released on Mike Millrain’s Soul Revolution label, Club of Jacks are going from strength to strength and are one to keep your eye on for the future.

Previous releases have been su pported by the likes of Todd Edwards, Golf Clap, Rack N Ruin / Gorgon City, Ashley Beedle, Aprés ( fe atured on John Digweed's Radio Show), DJ Q (Ministry of Sound Radio), Mike Delinquent (Kiss FM), Andrew Galea (Nightstylers, Sol Brothers), Ed Solo, Drumattic Twins / Shades Of Rhythm, SPX (Cheap Thrills), Danny O'Sullivan (Cafe Mambo / Ministry of Sound Radio), Mike Millrain (Defected, Simma Black, Soul Revolution) t o name but a few.
