Welcome to our second release of 2016, just in time to celebrate our second Birthday as well as Miami WMC! It gives us great pleasure to bring you this stunning release from The Lucius Project - Stay EP, again featuring the amazing song writing and vocals from Diana Lynn, more of that in a moment though...

The Lucius Project are a collaboration between Jonathan Weatherill-Hunt and Paul Gleave, hailing from Liverpool the pair met in the summer of 2013 and have since established the foundation of an effective co-production team...

Throw into the mix Diana Barber Wallace (Diana Lynn) and you have a dream team combination that is already making waves in clubland, Diana with her angelic Soulful voice that can adapt to the production master-class of Jonathan and Paul...

Having released the debut single in August 2015 on House Trip Recordings 'Falling' accompanied by remixes from Ross Couch and Liam Dunning, it was amazing to see 3 of the mixes hit the Traxsource Soulful House TOP 100, announcing their entrance to the scene, gaining support from heavy weights such as Lenny Fontana, Kenny Carpenter and Robert Owens...

'Suitcase and a Gun' the follow up to 'Falling' landed in December 2015 and as I write this, the Ross Couch vocal remix is coming up to 10 weeks in the Traxsource Soulful House TOP 100. Supported again by heavy weights such as Richard Earnshaw, Sebb Junior, Lenny Fontana and Justin Harris, it led Robert Owens to declare 'What a voice, I love you Diana and a nice track, all mixes' again taking everyone to another level culminating in CJ Mackintosh including the track in his monthly chart on Traxsource....

On to the latest EP which brings 3 deep house tracks, each offering something different with the emphasis as always associated to top end quality as well as designed to make those dance floors tick. 'I Really Wanna Stay' as Diana herself puts it 'The song is about the vulnerable space of giving oneself to another out of gratitude and need. Not necessarily love' and who are we to disagree? Next is 'She Goes Up' which reminds me of the kind of productions that Tom Middleton has put together over the years, thinking along the lines of 'Penrose Steps' on Ovum, top class dance floor destroyer, and finally 'Electricity' is deep flavoured main room House - again essential and a fitting end to the EP.

Again BIG thanks to all the DJ's, Blogs, Radio Station's and the people that buy our music, we could never do it without you.
