Following the first release of the year 'Horizon', and with too many great remixes to choose from, Motek brings you the remix release. Four brand new takes on the original Stevie R, Matt Hardinge and Wayne Tennant production, from HearThuG, Siopis and Sordo and Rodriguez. HearThuG has delivered a dark and driving piece, full of mystery and intrigue. Subtle hints of the original can be herd amongst the softly woven synth and lead sections, all driven by powerful saw bass hits and relentless 16th note pulses. Siopis had added real variety to this release with his stripped back broken beat production. Held together with a strong warm bass line, Siopis has used a minimal selection of parts to create a punchy and spacious feel, on top of which the vocal can take centre stage. Finally Sordo and Rodriguez have brought their 'Back To Mine' Remix as well as a 'Dub' version. 'Back To Mine' is a slowed tempo and majestic piece of House. The track takes on an ambient quality whilst keeping a solid and grooving backing of percussive rhythms, interplaying with edits of the Wayne Tennant vocal that can be heard in a variety of forms. The Dub mix takes on the more conventional dance floor style, uptempo danceability provided by the beats and bass alongside the original vocal and added vocal chanting.
