Mirror People is a Portuguese new wave-disco musical project fronted by the multi-instrumentalist, DJ & producer Rui Maia. After a string of solid releases on labels such as Discotexas, Permanent Vacation, Gomma and Exploited, Mirror People steps up to deliver a on his own label, Belong Records.

Title track ‘Telephone Call' opens things up, a dark disco tune, with pulsing bass synth and an emotive string section, featuring Rowetta from The Happy Mondays, providing lush and strong vocals.

'Ruby Went Out Dancing' features the duo 'Thunder & Co.' and it's a 'plastic soul' ballad with ping pong guitars and a great Steely Dan vibe.

This new EP features several 'Telephone Call' remixes: a 'Housy' ride from Kaspar, a 'Nu Disco' sunny remix by Cut Slack, a 'Glitch Pop' nostalgic rework by Daily Misconceptions.

Also in the pack, two outtakes from the 'Voyager' recording sessions: 'We Wonder' featuring Mauro, providing an some funk and edgy vocals and 'The Voyager Instrumental Space Theme' which catches the feeling from the debut album: a mix between, space synthesizers, disco and solid beats.
An unreleased great 'Deep House' remix for Nothing to Give (Ft. Rebeka)' by To Ricciardi also sees the light of the day here.
