Chassy Wezar’s song HONEYBADGER (King Size Dub - Germany Chapter 2 // Echo Beach) received rave reviews of the magazine Riddim: „...Chassy Wezar mixes a massive club dub sound which is sure to cause a stir way beyond just the die-hard dub fan base.“ This clearly emphasizes that the 21-year-old singer and producer from Hamburg goes beyond the boundaries of genres with his outstanding mix of dub, pop and hip hop. Chassy Wezar (born David Achinger) grew up in a musical environment right from the cradle, was influenced by his parents, indie-icons Katrin Achinger and Matthias Arfmann (“Kastrierte Philosophen”), and has been playing music actively since he was 13 years old. By now he can look back on numerous projects and productions, such as radio plays for NDR (“ABCDE und Ich”) and NJoy Radio (“New World”). He remixed songs by Aloe Blacc (“I Need A Dollar – Chassy Wezar Remix”), Susanne Blech (“Die Maschinen Laufen Heiss – Chassy Wezars Dub A Holic Riddim”) and Jan Delay (“St.Pauli – Soundkönig RMX”). He also produced and composed music for the Breakdance movie “Dessau Dancers” which was released in the cinemas in May 2015 and initiated the legendary party series “Hamburg High School” at the famous Hamburg fish market. With „LADY" Chassy Wezar provides a first taste of his debut album soon to come out (album produced partly by legendary Nick Manasseh (Jah Shaka, Soul to Soul) in London). „You reap what you sow“ - Chassy Wezar’s new video clip for LADY (look out!) shows exactly this and how to lead his LADY and the „head down generation“ back to nature in order to concentrate on the essentials of life. Even if it means tossing away your beloved smart phone - YEAH!  LADY is a declaration of love and how to stop taking the wrong things too seriously. LADY - EP will be out on February 19th, 2016 with smashing remix versions by Milan EAST and others. And NO! - you can’t smoke cornfields…
