So much can be said about blazing hot House Music producer Dennis Ferrer and his brand new debut album forthcoming on King Street, The World As I See It. This is a collection of Dennis original, never before-released introspective culmination of over 15 years of experience. Ferrers overall concepts for The World As I See It, having written and produced practically each and every song on this album, save for I Cant Imagine co-written with NYC vocalist, Selan, and Mia Tuttavilla on Touched the Sky , cover a wide range of genres and the gaps are bridged with little effort. From the vocally R&B-influenced I Cant Imagine & How Do I Let Go to the ever-so-deeply soulful Underground Is My Home, which easily hit #1 on Traxsour as well as underground clubs and internet radio in NYC & London before promos were even serviced. More styles are represented here from the more Afro-beat-ridden Run Free & Change the World, to the ones that will TRULY take you to your c hoice place of worship, Church Lady & Reach 4 Freedom. Further to his perspective, we hear the housey P 2 Da J, the Afro-tech-ish track Transitions, and subsequent Son of Raw, whose style is reminiscent of the global crossover monster Sandcastles . His take on using relatively unknown singers is proof that one doesnt need a star singer to make a good record. Truly being the case, all the singers showcased on this album Jennifer Morrison, Mitch Williams, K.T. Brook s and others have stellar voices and only serve to fortify the astounding production qualities
