Following hot on the heels of his breakout 'In Motion' EP on Nordic Trax, which made it into Traxsource's top 50 and featured in Beatport's 'Must Hear' section, Finest Wear returns home to Colour and Pitch with three stunning new tracks. Since his debut release in 2013, the London producer has built an impressive underground following, counting Mark Farina, John Digweed, Spiritchaser, Ashley Beedle and Jimpster among the many DJs supporting his music.
Title track 'Never Let Go' is a typically understated, steady building Deep House groove, featuring a unique and touching vocal performance from fellow Londoner The Natural Street Freak. Sure to appeal to fans of classic Deep House, 'Close My Eyes' opens with a subtle bounce in its step, graduating to timeless piano chords over tight drums. 'Another Direction' creates a hypnotic atmosphere with smooth chords and deftly edited spoken word samples. Closing out the package, label founder Sumsuch re-imagines 'Never Let Go' as a dreamy Balearic ballad, complete with rhodes piano and airy pads, taking its time to create its own special atmosphere over almost ten minutes.
