We are more than delighted to announce the Mustang EP from Nils Penner on Moodmusic Records. Hammering out amazing EPs on Freerange, Compost Black and Exploited, he is about explode in 2015.
Nils is no stranger to us, having recorded an album and several singles as Penner + Muder in 2010, he was also featured on several compilations on Moodmusic over the last years.
The Mustang EP shows a different angle productionwise, bringing an almost techno feel to Nils deep and emotional music. Raw and uncompromising, we are convinced this is Nils Penners best work to date.
Starting with Mustang, a proper jam if anything mixes driving beats and a massive bassline to undulating synths to a hypnotic theme.
Clouds follows with same esthetics, this time taking a Jacking Chi- cago feel and elevating it to next level with fierce drumming and majestic synth work.
Closing the EP is Aurora, a deeper affair with modulating synths, a deeper, melodic bassline making it a perfect early morning jam for a discerning dancefloor.
