SHMN is a Ukrainian producer based in London.
Having discovered his interest in electronic music at the early age, SHMN started composing in 2009. At that time, he drew the inspiration for his tracks from the work of Carl Cox and Richie Hawtin (Plastikman). Over the 6 years of constant exploration of the electronic music scene, SHMN's work is scattered across various genres.
Awe and Dread is SHMN's debut release on Bullfinch records. Fueled by personal emotion, tracks capture the dynamic of urban environment. Expressed through the use of analog synthesis, the ideas of progression and change are explored in this EP.
