DELVE004 | 2015-08-24
The fourth release from Sheffield based label Delve Deeper sees a debut from south coast duo Session9, an alias of production partners Chris Tomsett and Ben Max, with the tech-edged deep house of 'Find My Soul'.

Chris recently appeared on Delve Deeper's third release in July '15 under his K-Bana guise, where his remix of Angel Rize's 'My Cedonia' featured in the Traxsource hype chart and achieved amazing feedback internationally. He has over 90 tracks/remixes to his name since he started releasing music in 2006 and teams up with highly experienced DJ Ben Max for the second time as Session9, producing an atmospheric deep house track with tech undertones in 'Find My Soul'.

Foto Recordings boss OOFT! provides the first remix in an impressive package with a thumping tech infused reworking of the track, adding Detroit inspired percussion to the original's haunting strings. Glasweigian Ali Herron, aka OOFT!, has held residencies at some of Scotland's top clubs, toured Europe and released on a host of labels, varying his style from Deep House & Disco to Techno & Classic House. Ali will be making the long trip south in November when he headlines Delve Deeper's birthday celebrations at The Harley in Sheffield.

Spain also contributes to the release with DeepClass Records boss Fer Ferrari producing a deep, blissed out, summery mix. As a label boss, producer and radio host Fer has been busy crafting his style since 2007 on labels such as Plastic City (where he reached the tech-house number 1 on Beatport for several weeks with “The Flash”), Acryl, So Sound, Solid Fabric Rec and more with his latest solo works on DeepClass being heavily supported by Dj Sneak, John Digweed, Laurent Garnier, Markus Schultz and many others.

Having previously released tracks on UM records amongst others Phil Maher provides the final remix of release with a dancefloor friendly reworking. Taking influence from his time DJing in the early 90's Phil adds a simple groove and vocal to supply a different angle to the original.
