Having released the Harkiss album '1991' to critical acclaim in May 2014, San Francisco's Hardkiss continue to release remixes. The latest release is 'Cameras Are Watching' with vocals by Tamika and new remixes by Robbie Hardkiss, Gavin Hardkiss, All Good Funk Alliance and Corduroy Mavericks. Even while the lyrics are quite ominous and timely, touching on themes of NSA surveillance and voyeuristic technology, the remixes are fun and silly. That's a Hardkiss trait. Putting the fun and the funk into anything that moves Corduroy Mavericks from Lexington Kentucky and All Good Funk Alliance (AGFA) from Washington DC are in on these tricks creating their own interpretations. Corduroy Mavericks brings the cheeky laid back house party groove and AGFA pull out the spaced funk. If you're looking for the spooky version then you'll have to wait for the video.
