Clouds / Lights (Remixes)

Weird Shapes

Sidetrak's latest release steers them firmly to the left of the field with this remix package of alternative band Weird Shapes!

Teesside's Weird Shapes have released two well received singles produced by Radiohead engineer Graeme Stewart. The band have had numerous plays on Radio 1, 6 Music and Amazing Radio leading them to open the first ever 6 Music festival in Manchester. Other notable gigs include slots at T in the Park, Stockton Weekender and Evolution Festival. Their next single is due out in 2015 with tours to follow.

Karl Frampton opens the remix package with a typically club-friendly tech-house mix of Clouds. Tracks Clouds and Lights are also de-constructured and re-engineered by Philip Rodgers and Red Star Arcade with dubby, trippy almost Weatherall-esque mixes.

Support on this release comes from the likes of:-
Charlie Tee (Kiss Fm), Booker T, Robert Owens, Matt Prehn (Bang Bang), Stafford FM - Deep house sessions, Sound Traffic F.m 98.8 (Brussels), Melvin Moore (Subliminal), Carlo Gambino (Midnight Social Recordings), Sabo Sabo, Brotherhood of House Radio / Blog, Bassline Blog, Adam Shaw Toolroom / Mau5trap), Mark Doyle (Hed Kandi / Fierce Panda) & Severino Panzetta (Horse Meat Disco)
