PsyShe, launch part one of their amazing new debut album!
A strong vessel of gutsy female energy, PsyShe is the project of London-based producer, Bahar Canca, and vocalist, Ozlem Tekin. They make a colourful splash with the delivery of this seminal release, which includes a special remix of the track, Moment from Mexican producer, Tron.
Progressive melodic soundscapes are punctuated by a unique take on vocals for a finely crafted production. That unmistakable sound of infectious psytrance resonates throughout, while vocals emanate a wild energy in Liar, referencing the spirit of dark underground rock that inspired singer, Tekin.
This rare production gives a fresh lease of life to the sound of psychedelic trance. Zen-like melodies are followed through with a discreet hint at the spirit of house in Moment, which simultaneously gives a nod to old school trance. Trons remix follows, remaining authentic yet indicative of the producers trademark style.
The brightness of Secret is seen with its combination of styles that make daring reference to the vibes of house, and eloquently infused with psychedelic rhythms and bass for a real sense of journey. That journey is experienced ever potently with the instrumental version of the track and its stomping dance floor vibration.
