Track 2 is a personal favorite of Marinated Music. “Chillax” is a clean lesson is house music for any listener. The tight drums are separated with mathematical precision as the deep melodic textures creep from the depths of the track slowly building the house foundation. As drums fills and high hat shuffles re calibrate the groove, the mood hits its hypnotiq flow and peak. Track 3 is the title track Mellow Blow. This groover has chunky drums and a funky guitar lick tracing it presence through to a jamming clave section. As the sound takes a 70’s laid back journey through disco highs and funk bass, this song is sure to please.
