Tim Fuller

Bombay Records
BMY-CD-112 | 2008-01-16
No stranger to fans of funk, soul, R&B and house music, Tim Fuller breaks out with an explosive debut album, solidifying his place as one of underground dance music's freshest new vocalists. Produced by Sean Dimitrie along with DJ Ali & Nav Bhinder, Fuller is able to showcase his entire range by visiting the many faces of house music with an infectious and universally appealing release. Delivering the feel good tone of a dance record, Fuller forges his own path using anthem styled vocals, seductive solos, complex harmonies and some dancehall reggae thrown in for good measure. Taking the listener through the block party sound of the early 80's with title track 'The Slightest Touch', floor-filling disco vibe with 'Cheap Advice' to the jazz tip with 'Beautiful' (along with acclaimed jazz artist Denzal Sinclaire), Fuller expresses himself through both his subtleties and casual demeanor, enticing the listener to explore every song on this tightly sewn full length. 'The Slightest Touch' is also a showcase for west coast producer Sean Dimitrie, who put his talents as musician, composer and engineer into the creation of the record. Additional production from DJ Ali, Nav Bhinder, Vernell De Long and Vernon Douglas rounds out an impressive list of talent which also a remix from production duo Swag. With a promotional tour set for summer 2006, Fuller's arsenal of vocal improvisations will be on display alongside Dimitrie's unique live techno mastery. Tim's soul singing flair and stage presence is renown for drawing crowds onto dance floors and is sure too win over a new generation of house music lovers. With 'The Slightest Touch' set to hit stores early summer, Fuller is poised to be Canada's next great house music export.
