DJ Jeroenski & Mike Laveaux have teamed up to produce the fourth release on esteemed Dutch label Roog & Greg Electronics, a label that is causing a stir worldwide with strong initial releases. DJ Jeroenski is considered one of the big talents of the Dutch club scene. He guests in Holland's hottest clubs and festivals including Housequake, Salsa Lounge, Discotheque, Club Silly, Escape, Sneakerz, Bed, Club Rotterdam, Latin Village, Sensation, Dance Valley. He is making a name for himself as a producer too, with releases on Soulfuric Deep, Hardsoul Pressings, Real Basic, Refunkt, R&G Recordings and his own Choice Recordings imprint.
Mike Laveaux started spinning in 1992 but quickly found producing gave him more creative options. Working long hours in the studio helped his ambition grow. Inspired by the likes of Roni Size, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Jamiroquai, Rapper's Delight, Frank Sinatra and many more, Mike draws on an extremly wide range of influences today. After 10 years of producing and working with many talented artists, now is the time to hook up with Jeroenski to deliver a track for R&G Electronics, Holland's premier house label.
R&G label boss DJ Roog comments: "Black Rain" has been my secret weapon for the past few months. There is much interest about this track - this is the one everyone is waiting for."
Sergio Flores: I really like the R n G Electronics stuff and this one is no exception. Electro-tinged, but funky
Born To Funk: "Black Rain" is a good and solid electro style tune with a very cathy hook! Essential track in today's Dutch house-sound. Have been playing it, with excellent crowd response!
DJ Meme: Black Rain has my full support! It's not like another electro-House track...IS THE ONE!
Michael Gray: 'Black Rain' for me
Ralf Gum (GoGo Music): good for the big clubs
Richard Earnshaw: Simple but effective - filthy analogue grooves
Warren Clarke: 8/10 - Very nice - thanks!
