Staying true to the sound of NuLu, we are excited to present our newest release and collaboration with someone who exemplifies the authentic “ancestral” sound…Boddhi Satva.
A name that has quickly gained the respect of many pioneers in the dance music scene, such as Grammy Award winner Louie Vega (look out for his upcoming album on Vega Records, Spring 2010), Boddhi Satva has brought his rhythms, his beats, his culture to the ever so changing music world, and we at NuLu are honored to present…Boddhi Satva’s “Maboko Na Ndouzou” which means “In The Air”.
When Boddhi Produced this song, he wanted to bring in a strong and heavy atmosphere using dark synths and Rhodes and blend them together with vocals calling for people to put their hands in the air and sing for peace, for the people living in countries where War still kills many innocent. This is the true beauty of creating incredible music with powerful words to help make change.
