With a career spanning over twenty-five years, and releases across Strictly Rhythm, King Street and Real Tone to name a few, Tommy Bones’ new ‘Black Concept EP’ brings two tracks that give a modern edge to the classic soulful house sound. ‘Black Concept’ has a soothing, almost serene, sound with the use of jazz influenced samples but also a beat that allows it to remain a predominantly house track. ‘Put It On You’ is up-tempo and more club focused, featuring Lydia Rhodes seductive vocals, and still caters for the more underground dancefloor.
