So Sound Recordings Presents the 2014 re-mastered edition of Toomy Disco's album 'Bedroom Trick'

Toomy Disco's debut album is another expertly crafted example of the current explosion in nu-disco. The Buenos Aires producer releases 'Bedroom Tricks' on Miami's So Sound Recordings with widespread support flooding in by artists like Annie Mac, M.A.N.D.Y., Dubfire, Erol Alkan, Tensnake, Da Sunlounge, Jaques Renault, Rayko, Golden Bug, C90s, Art of Tones, Simon Lee (Faze Action), Telonius (Gomma), 2020 Soundsystem & Dana Bergquist, already included tracks from 'Bedroom Tricks' in their new mixes.
The album follows two very well received Eps on So Sound and cements Toomy's reputation as one of the scenes's brightest lights.

Bedroom Tricks Press reviews:

'Toomy Disco is super cool, he is also argentinean, has a trendy goatie, wears sweet T-shirts and makes cheeky Italo-disco that'd make Justice cream. Add a five-year disco resurgence, a flow of nostalgic Italo/'80s synth pop and the Ed Banger roster, and you have fertile ground for this guy to work his magic.
Bedroom Tricks is Kavinsky with warmth, Daft Punk robodisco with both eyes on the dancefloor, stapled with bumping 4/4s, sultry vocals, wiggling boogie basslines and cowbells to make Sylvester shimmy in his grave'
Adam Saville / DJ Mag

Kicking off with a vocal scratched-up vocal intro, electrofunk b-line and killer space disco stabs, 'Bedroom Tricks' wears its heart on its sleeve from the get-go. It's packed full of unshamedly retro-tactic party starters, with da funk in full effect and pretty much every track aimed at the dancefloor. It's a nu disco delight that most definitely warrants your attention.
Russell Deeks / iDJ Mag

Such is the quality here it's hard to believe it has been crafted by a 22 year old in his bedroom studio!
'Cheek to Cheek' starts proceedings in a blaze of echoing claps, space-funk synths, a robotic bassline and a soulful female vocal, perfectly setting the scene for a sublime 14 tracks of unadulterated 80's disco-funk. It's a largely instrumental album, but where vocals are used they add a whole new dimension. With the likes of Tensnake, Aeroplane, Hot Toddy and Ilija Rudman riding high, this album couldn't have come at a better time - throw a hefty dose of Daft Punk into that artist mix and you have something rather unique, and rather special.
Our House Mag

I like this very much. Well-produced with an eye for subtle detail. There's a whole wealth of influences distilled into something quite interesting here.
Paul Corey / Resident Advisor

If you are thinking , ohh right, just another one of those nu-disco, Tensnake, Alan Braxe-type things, then let me stop you right there. Bedroom Tricks is so much more than an album, it's a record that CAN actually get you laid.
PlanetNotion Mag

NuDisco brilliente! The whole album is awesome... just balls-out, funk riddled, dance floor goodness. Cheek to Cheek is brilliant – cheeky vocal and bass to shake anyone. Move It... another instant classic. Le Petite Chien has 80s glam-tastic! 1976, We, Constellation Eridanus, It's You That's Happenin'... wow, wow, WOW! I can’t say enough good things about this album. Simply superb!
My Cuppa T

The album is expertly put together and pays tribute to those golden days of disco. It is well worth a listen - not only is it different, but it may well herald the down of the rebirth of disco.
SoulM8 Mag

What ever you think good disco music should sound like then you should check out 'Bedroom Tricks', it's pretty amazing, it fuses all the elements of old school disco with nu-disco elements making an outstanding album that any music lover should have in the music collection.
