The No Stress Express rolls back into town with their second offering for Rogue Cat Sounds, where they pick you up and transport you to the sunnier climes and headier days of 1980s Caribbean. Steel drums, loose-limbed percussion, lazy synth stabs and carefree basslines, all infused with a whiff of Woodbines, jerk chicken and dark rum. As the sun sets, the party picks up momentum. Tipsy, 'mellow' moods. 'Location 141' is chosen as the spot to ignite the fire which is carried out with blistering aplomb, taking us on yet another excursion. Speaking in tongues; old stories being told on repeat to the keen ears of worldly explorers, and as the stars descend and the moon casts its blue hue, the sea gently throws its waves against the 'Soft Rocks', where we're lifted high into the cosmos in a tranquil, tropical daze and splendour, reminding us just why it was that we ran away to 'Runaway Bay'.
