Following on from another well-received John Heckle EP on the label, Scenery Records continues to establish itself with a new EP from label artist Bantam Lions. This time out remixes come from Cloudface and Cyclist, and all four tracks once again manage to usurp contemporary trends and operate in magical house worlds all of their own.

Liverpool's Bantam Lions has impressed on this label already with his warm and humid fusions of frayed samples, real instrumentation and cuddly house vibes. His pleasingly dusty and decidedly deep style is a rare thing and is showcased in all its glory once again here.

First up is the mid tempo 'Recollections', with its watery melodic rain failing down the face of full, rich kick drums, live sounding hi hats and subtle background synths. It's a slow burning affair that creates a beautifully intimate vibe and makes you feel warm inside and on the flip Opal Tapes and Mood Hut man Cloudface remixes.
