P-Ben's back on Motech with some main-room action for the New Year. 'This Song is The Way' is taken from his forthcoming debut album, which is due for release on Motech in the Spring.
Earlier in 2014, P-Ben delivered his first double-header, 'Half Life / Snoopy' for the label, having previously released tracks and remixes on the likes of Ovum, Restructured, Naked Lunch, Logos, Bulletdodge and his own PBR Music amongst others.
Now, this South of France DJ / producer delivers a track which straddles the House and Techno camps, reminiscent of the tough Chicago grooves of days gone by, complete with its euphoric preacher sample, making it a perfect precursor to the theme of his upcoming album, entitled 'Influences'.
Sitting alongside P-Ben's original version are remixes by Rome's Frankyeffe (Soma / Analytic Trail / Phobiq / Mb Elektronics) with a toughened but still butt-shaking Techno rendition, and Motech's own DJ 3000 who goes deeper for a funky, grinding and Detroit tinged takeover.
P-Ben's 'This Song is The Way' is released on 2nd February and will be followed by his 'Influences' album in March.
