Over 2 discs you get a mixed and unmixed version. The mix takes in all the tracks that are on the unmixed version which are all Groove Junkies tracks and include Love Has Come Around, Believe In Dreams, Kalakuta, Midnight, So Damn Crazy, Catch Your Shine and Oh Lord. The mix has been lovingly crafted and put together by the Groove Junkies and captures a small part of what these guys do live in DJ sets. When you look at the releases on the unmixed cd you see that the Groove Junkies have been behind some of the biggest anthems in the Soulful/Funky House genre over the last few years and long may it continue. This cd will capture the fans of old and also new followers of the Groove Junkies, brilliant mix and it hasn’t left my cd player in the car yet in over 2 weeks. With release #35 just around the corner, the label is about to drop "MoHo Vaults Vol. 1 (Best of MoreHouse)", a twelve track selection available both un-mixed and mixed by the Groove Junkies. Included are such gems as "Love has come around" by Morten Trust, "Life is what you make it" by MoHo All Stars featuring Solara, "Music's gotcha jumpin'" by Groove Junkies feat Indeya or "Devotion (part 2)" by Groove Junkies feat Prophet & T.C. Moses to name just a few. (Mike Fossati) 5 Magazine A lot of labels view these type of packages as a way to squeeze a few more cents out of an old track, but when it’s done right, a “Best of” compilation can really augment an imprint’s reputation by trotting out all of the tracks you discovered in bins, fell in love with, played to death and then slipped to the back of the crate again. At least in promo version, MoHo Vaults Vol. 1 comes in both mixed and unmixed versions, for both fans and DJs. I know the Groove Junkies have done a lot of stuff, but it’s kind of humbling to think that the 12 great tracks here only represent a small fragment of their total output. Among the gems here are Richard Earnshaw’s vocal mix of “Didn’t I Bring You Love”, Jay-J’s classic remix of “Music’s Gotcha Jumpin’ (2007)”, and Andy Caldwell/Groove Junkies/Alexander Sky neo-stylish “I Believe in Dre ams”.
